Sleepy kids are more apt to pay attention with a game afoot. Shakespeare Bingo is a great way to keep kiddos engaged. (Add a prize for the winner, and you're really on to something!)
Plays are meant to be watched or performed. As teachers, we seem to lean toward performing-- and it often flops. Finding a good video to watch may be a better option. Try to find one with really recognizable actors, and they'll be hooked.
